So much as happened these past few days... where do i begin?

Janet came back this weekend. She was one of many people who came back this weekend. Seemed like this was THE weekend to come back to the bay area and say hi. I was really good seeing her again. Long distance is not exactly something that i recommend. I understand why so many people say "don't do long distance unless you're really prepared and know exactly what you're getting into". But it's definitely something that i don't regret. Valentine's day was really good. Went around the city, did some touristy stuff. Ended up eating dinner at this small italian place. I was kinda bummed since the food kinda sucked from the previous time i was there, but that was probably because they were busy beyond belief and it was a packed house (normally it's kinda empty). Good times either way though.

My sister sent back her laptop with janet, so i spent saturday fixing that thing. You don't know how many phone calls i had to endure listening to her rant and rave about her computer and how it doesn't work. I don't know what the big fuss is about. Hopefully it'll work now. Seemed like i was the handy-man this weekend, since janet also gave me her ipaq to fix as well. Good stuff i tell you. But at least it'll prepare me for what comes next. So after 9 months of searching, praying, being frustrated, turned-down interviews, being broke... i finally got a job. That's right. A JOB. Someone finally decided to hire me. It's an IT job, so it's definitely something i don't want to do for a career, but at least it'll help me get out of the red and be a better boyfriend, now that i can afford things.

Funny thing was, I had my follow-up interview on Monday afternoon, after i supposedly dropped off Janet at the airport to go back home. But due to the snowstorm on the east coast, her flight got delayed. I was so happy monday morning. It's like the thing you dream that would happen, happens =) So i had another day with her, instead of hurrying to finish packing, meeting people, saying bye to everyone, and running to the interview. My mom said that janet was good luck for my interview. I just think that i was really happy that day because she was still here, and it showed when i was doing my interview. So, they called the next day, and said they wanted to hire me. Yay! But no, i'm going to have to commute to Oakland from San Jose. I'm going to be doing the exact opposite from what Jomo was going to be doing. Anyways, thanks janet for sticking with me these past nine months of crap. Better days are ahead for me from now on. So in response to Jomo's blog about girls and there aren't any good ones out there, you're right. All the good ones ARE taken. But, lucky me. I've got the best one =D
